These great old lightweight aluminum cube (irregular) shaped beads came from Ethiopia. They are approx 30 yrs old and were made from melting down old, discarded aluminum silverware. The strand measures approx 24" and there about 100-120 beads in total, measuring 5-7mm square and rectangular. They are strung on raffia.
