These old lightweight aluminum (irregular) shaped beads came from Ethiopia. They are approx 30 yrs old and were made from melting down old, discarded aluminum silverware. The strand measures approx 28" and there approx 54 beads in total, measuring 11-17mm in diameter x 8-14mm long (5mm hole).
