Ancient Roman Glass Beads - Afghanistan (AF593)

These ancient Roman glass pieces were found during excavations in southern Afghanistan and date at least 1000 years old. The 'beads' are just as they were found and are referred to as "moils", which is the section of glass left over after producing a vessel. There are 13 beads in total, ranging in size from 12mm x 9mm to 60mm x 12mm. These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the exact beads you will receive.
