Ancient Stone Spindle Whorl Beads - Afghanistan

These old spindle whorl beads came from central Afghanistan, in the Bamian Valley. They date from the Buddhist era and are more than 1,500 years old. The strand measures 18.5" and there are 31 beads in total, measuring from 3/8" to 1 1/4" in diameter. The beads show age and use, but are overall in very good condition. These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the beads you will receive.
