These black & white "bird" beads are an ancient Indonesian design. They have a slightly glossy finish and an aged appearance. The strand measures 20" and there are approx 52 beads in total, each measuring approx 9-11mm. They are strung on cotton string. Handcrafted in Java, Indonesia.
