Black Pottery Beads - Oaxaca (OAX19)

These beads wre hand crafted in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, Mexico. This village is famous for it's unique method of making black pottery. The strand measures approx 30" and there are approx 75 beads in total, the round beads measure 1/4" in diameter and the tube-type beads measure 1 1/8" in length. Please realize that the black color comes from burning the pottery and traces of the black can rub off on clothing, etc.
