Brass Ball Beads 11-13mm, Ghana (ME117)

These ornate brass metal ball shaped beads came from Ghana. Each bead was handmade from wax and then cast with molten brass, a process which dates back to the 7th century in Africa, because of this no two are perfectly identical, each is unique and somewhat crude in character (imperfections, a small dent or a missing section should be expected). The strand measures approx 20" and there are approx 40-44 beads in total, measuring approx 11-13mm in diameter.
