Brass rings braided onto leather from Nigeria, Africa. These belts were used as currency by the Yoruba people, traded as is or individual rings were removed and used. The belt measures approx 30" (ring to ring) and there are approx 80 rings in total, each measuring approx 26-32mm in diameter x 4-6mm thick. Each belt weighs approx 1.5-2 pounds.
