Brass Triangular Beads 20mm - Ghana (ME138)

Ornate brass metal beads from Ghana. The strand measures approx 20" and there are approx 28 beads in total, each measuring approx 20mm x 18-20mm x 9-10mm thick (3mm hole). Each bead was handmade from wax and then cast with molten brass, a process which dates back to the 7th century in Africa; because of this process no two are perfectly identical, each is unique and somewhat crude in character (imperfections, a small dent or a missing section should be expected).
