Carved Jade Maya Face Amulet (PC442)

Beautiful Maya amulet carved from jade.  Great patina. It shows age and use, but is overall in very good condition. This is a very old piece, at least 200-300 years old and quite possibly precolumbian. We cannot date the piece. It came from ruins in the Utatlan area, near Chichicastenango, in Quiche, Guatemala. It measures 2" x 1 3/4" x 1/2". There is a hole at the top of the piece for stringing. This item is one of a kind, you will receive the exact amulet which is pictured.
