Flat Octagonal Shaped Wedding Beads - Mali (AT248)

These old flat (tabular) octagonal shaped glass "wedding" beads came from Mali, Africa. The strand measures 22" and there are 38 beads in total measuring 15mm, all measurements approximate.  Most of the beads are in very nice condition, but as they have been traded in history expect signs of use, including some pitting and a possible chipped or broken bead.
