Old Giant Quartz Beads - Mali (OS8824)

These enormous graduated quartz beads can be very hard to find. They came from excavations in the Djenne area of Mali, Africa. They are hundreds of years old, dating back possibly even earlier than 1200. The strand measures 37" and there are 47 beads in total. The smallest measures 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1/2" and the largest measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 7/8". These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the exact beads you will receive.
