Green Turquoise Round Beads 4mm

These green turquoise beads are made from stabilized Chinese turquoise. The strand measures 16" and there are approx 92 beads in total, measuring approx 4mm in diameter. This particular turquoise is a lower grade (though it is indeed turquoise) and the price reflects the quality. The stabilization process increased durability, plus equalizes, enhances the color of stone somewhat. Some of this turquoise may have been a lighter shade (even white) in it's natural form, as it contains little (or no) iron or copper, which is what gives turquoise it's color.
