Large Long Faceted Red Glass Beads - Fulani (AT2103)

Vaseline-like transparent red beads from Nigeria. They are at least 70 years old. They show their age, expect some pitting, fractures or an occasional large chip. Many of the ends are chipped as well - it's the nature of these particular beads. They were originally faceted, but the edges have worn (mostly) smooth, they have a nice patina. The strand measures approx 20" long, and there are approx 15 beads in total, each measures 32-36mm long x 10-12mm in diameter (2mm hole).
