Old Large Amazonite Beads - Mali (AM10)

EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE BEADS! These old amazonite beads are at least 500 years old and possibly as much as 2000 years of age. They are nearly impossible to come by and were found in excavations near the Djenne area of Mali. Each bead was drilled by hand. The beads have a beautiful patina and are in near-perfect condition. The strand measures 34" and there are 61 beads in total. There is a variety of shapes and sizes measuring from 10-37mm in diameter x 7-65mm in length. These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the exact beads you will receive.
