Large Old Amazonite Beads - Mali (AM12)

EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE COLLECTIBLE BEADS! These old stone beads (mostly amazonite) are hundreds of years old and possibly as much as 2000 years of age. They were found in excavations near the Djenne area of Mali. Each bead was drilled by hand. The beads have a beautiful patina and are in near-perfect condition, yet with obvious wear and age. The strand measures 36" and there are 60 beads in total. There is a variety of shapes and sizes measuring from 8-60mm. These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the exact beads you will receive.
