These old bauxite (pipestone) beads came from west Africa. The strand measures approx 27" and each bead measures approx 5/8" to 3/4" in diameter. They are strung on raffia.

Rustic!

I must admit that I was hesitant to order these beads originally, but once I received them I was more than pleased. Yes, they are rustic, but so cool!
