Large Old Brass Tabular Beads 60mm x 50mm - Ivory Coast

These old, ornate brass tabular (flat) beads came from the Ivory Coast, Africa. Each bead was handmade from wax and then cast with molten brass, because of this no two are perfectly identical, each is unique. The strand measures approx 24" and there are 10 large beads in total, measuring 60mm x 50mm, the hole measures 5mm. Please be aware that the casting process used to produce these beads dates back to the 7th century in Africa, therefore expect these beads to have somewhat of a crude character, a small dent or a missing section on a bead should be expected.
