Brass Medallion Beads 22mm - Ghana (ME5630)

This strand of large size ornate brass metal beads came from Ghana, Africa and were made using recycled metal. Each bead was handmade from wax and then cast with molten brass, because of this no two are perfectly identical, each is unique. Each bead measures approx 22mm in diameter x 8mm in thickness. There are approx 30 beads on each strand. P lease be aware that the casting process used to produce these beads dates back to the 7th century in Africa, therefore expect these beads to have somewhat of a crude character, a small dent or a missing section on a bead should be expected.
