Brass Medallion Beads 22mm - Ghana (ME5611)

These beads were made of ornate cast brass w/copper  and produced using the lost wax casting process - an amazing amount of work! Each bead measures approx 22mm in diameter x 8mm in thickness. There are approx 30 beads on each strand. Please be aware that the casting process used to produce these beads dates back to the 7th century in Africa, therefore expect these beads to have somewhat of a crude character, a small dent or a missing section on a bead should be expected.
