Large Old Red Glass Maasai Beads 25mm (RF8703)

These large old glass Maasai beads were found in Nigeria. Most are roundish - slightly oval (egg) in shape. Various shades of red from an opalescent, milky red to a dark cherry red. Overall they are in good condition, though some show pitting from age and use. The strand measures approx 26" and there are approx 26-28 beads in total, each bead measures approx 25mm in length x 20mm in diameter, though some might be larger or smaller.
