Maya Jade Barrel Ellipsoid Beads 9-12mm (GJ401)

These beads were completely hand carved of genuine jadeite by the Maya people of Guatemala. Beautiful, variegated shades of green with some white and golden brown. Most beads are ellipsoid in shape, though some are barrel or rice shaped. The strand measures approx 16" and there are approx 35 beads in total. Each graduates in size from approx 9mm long x 5mm in diamter to 12mm long x 8mm in diameter (1-2mm hole), though some might be slightly larger or smaller.
