Maya Jade Large Graduated Disc Beads (GUA304)

These beads were completely hand carved of genuine jadeite by the Maya Indians of Guatemala. This jade came from the recently re-discovered Motagua Valley mine, the source of all the ancient Central American jade works of art. The wide variety of colors in this jade can be found nowhere else in the world: beautiful variegated shades of green with some white and golden brown. The strand measures 18" and there are 92 disc shaped beads in total. The beads graduate in size, measuring 16-35mm in diameter x 3-8mm thick (2-3mm hole size). These beads are one of a kind, the strand you see pictured are the beads you will receive. These beads were hand cut; therefore, expect imperfections in shape and size.
