Old Millefiori Trade Beads

Millefiori is an Italian word meaning "thousand flowers". It refers to the multi-layered wound mosaic glass beads which were produced in Venice beginning in the early 1800's. These beads are sold 'by the strand' unless specified otherwise. They are all old and show some age and use.
