These old transparent "vaseline" beads came from Ethiopia, but were originally made in Czechoslovakia. They are faceted red glass and show age and use, including some pitting, but are overall in good condition. The strand measures approx 22" long and there are approx 50 beads in total, each measures approx 16mm in diameter x 6-11mm in width.

Happy Mango has the most beautiful beads and quick shipping. I used these gorgeous Vaseline trade beads in a trade bead bracelet I made for my web site.
