Olive Green w/Polka Dots Sandcast Glass Beads 8-10mm (SC620)

These beads were made by pulverizing old (recycled) glass, which is then poured into molds and then placed in a crude earthen oven where the powered is molten into glass. They are often referred to as "powder glass" beads as well as "sand cast". Olive green with hand painted white and blue polka dots. The strand measures approx 23" and there are approx 61 beads in total, measuring approx 8-10mm in diameter x 7-9mm thick (2-3mm hole). They are strung on raffia and were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa.
