These pre-Columbian stone beads came from excavations near the ruins of Ixcateopan de Cuauhtemoc, near Iguala in Guerrero, Mexico. They are presumed to be Olmec. Each of the beads was biconically hand drilled. Most of the beads are rough as after the hole was cut for stringing, the outside was never smoothed. Included are 27 beads which measure from 8mm to 29mm. These beads are one of a kind, you will receive exactly what you see pictured.
