Rondelles - Aqua Blue Turquoise Beads 6mm

These aqua blue turquoise beads are made from stabilized Chinese turquoise. The strand measures 16" and there are approx 98 beads in total, measuring 6mm in diameter. This particular turquoise is a low grade (though it is indeed turquoise) and the price reflects the quality. The stabilization process increased durability, plus equalizes, enhances and in this case adds color to the stone.  Some of this turquoise may have been white in it's natural form, as it contains little (or no) iron or copper, which is what gives turquoise it's color.
