These silver metal beads were handcrafted in Ethiopia, Africa. They are irregular cylinder tube shaped, expect imperfections. The strand measures approx 31" and there are approx 140 beads in total, each measuring approx 4-6mm long x 2-3mm in diameter (2mm hole).

These metal tube beads are quite nice. My strand even looks better than the photograph. I like using these with the Ethiopian bi-cone beads to make necklace "chains" for Ethiopian Coptic crosses. I space them with small 3 mm metal beads purchased locally - making all beads fit nicely together. I will have to let you know how they sell... Previously, my jewelry was all for me. I have "necklace surplus" now - but wanted to continue helping artisans in Africa - so am taking some work to a gallery this week.
