Tektite Beads 11-22mm (GS678)

This tektite was formed when a meteor crashed on the Earth and the tremendous heat and pressure melted the rock. Tektite is glass-like and similar to obsidian, but not of a volcanic process. The beads appear black, but with a bright back light you can see that they are actually olive green in color. Though they appear rough and jagged, they aren't really sharp at all. The strand measures approx 15" and there are approx 58-60 beads in total, measuring from 11mm to 22mm.
